ロックステディ・ミュージックが台頭した1966年。
コクソンの初期のキラー・ロックステディ。
イエス・ガール(YES GIRL)」と題されたB面は「フォー・シーズンズ(The Four Seasons)」の1964年のロック・クラシック「沈黙は金なり(Silence is golden)」のメロディーそのもの。ジャッキー・ミットゥー(Jackie Mittoo)がオルガンを担当し、コクソンのアレンジは一味違う。ドラムはよりソリッドなキック・パターン。
1966 which saw the emergence of rocksteady music.
One of early killer rocksteady out of Coxsone stable.
The B side which is entitled "yes girl" is the exact melody of "The Four Seasons" 1964 Rock Classic entitled, silence is golden. This Coxsone arrangement gives a different twist with Jackie Mittoo on organ. The Drum pattern have more solid kick.
